Each "pathy" or systems of treatment have its own advantage and disadvantages.
Q. Oh. Dr. Rao, so much praise for Ayurvedam. Do you have at least a Paracetamol like medicine for aches and fevers in Ayurvedam?
A. paracetamol even injected by I.V. routre takes time to act, before its invention AMTRUTA DHARA like medicine were existing nobody waited for Paracetamol. This gives faster results than paracetamol.
Q. Mild pains OK, what about fever? Remedies in Ayurvedam have got JWARAHARA SLOKA (HYMN) = fever reducing methods on page 36 of ancient Ayurvedic book where Basavarajeeyam fevers will remit instantly. Similarly on page 27, 66, 73, 75, 83 other formulas are described in the same book.
A. Readers must know it is not which system is "superior" you must look for "alternative" to alleviate pain and suffering, this portal's main objective is this only.
Q. Why don't you disclose above remedies in this portal?
A. This portal's intention is to find solutions for more serious diseases affecting the entire world not on trivial matters where already adequate therapies are existing in Allopathy.
Q. On set of action is very late in Ayurvedam.
A. Quick onset is possible and existing but it depends on the capacity knowledge, of the physician. Transdermal; ophthalmic and transcutaneous modes are available in Ayurvedam for quick on set of action of ayurvedic medicines where emergencies, like snake bite; heavy bleeding; epilepsy, hiccups etc.
Q. Metals minerals are toxic - still used in Ayurvedam.
A. No, if they are properly detoxified no toxicity. The advantage of metals minerals are described elsewhere in this portal.
Q. Dr. Rao, at this stage, why Ayurvedam. Why not Allopathy?
A. After offering prayers to God in the same mode, I offer prayers to greatest scientists who invented the concepts in Allopathy namely. i) Vaccines, ii) Injections as a way of administration of medicines particularly intravenous fluids iii) Lab diagnosis iv) Anesthesia local; spinal; central v) Surgeries vi) Transplant surgery vii) Antibiotics and other Antimicrobials etc. Hence Ayurvedam in this situation is only one of alternatives.
Q Why research in Ayurvedam now?
A. Research is required because for every 18 seconds there is a death due to multi drug resistant TB on earth. Similarly for malaria also there is fast developing resistance. Hence the need.
Q. Why there is no research in Ayurvedam so far?
A. Concept of research is not there is Ayurvedam it is not there as formulae described in it are taught by saints who knows it directly / indirectly from God himself. Those who believe let them; those who do not believe it let us not bother.
Q. What is the research now in your opinion as you labeled your portal as research somewhere?
A. Research means search for knowledge or search for unknown things, hence the word searching again research most accepted definition is "Research is knowing new facts and verifying old ones that are what we are doing in this website by application of appropriate methods.
Q. Why long courses in Ayurveda Medication?
A. Are we not using in Allopathy lifelong courses for Diabetics, BP, and Cancer etc.
Q. Dr. Rao, anything new you want to say on "AIDS" as it was discovered hardly 30 years back.
A. True but I feel it is already described in Ancient Ayurvedic Book "CHARAKA SAMHITA" chikista staanam the author feels nothing new about it. There are Ayurvedic Formulae not exactly for Aids. Needy can refer to the above book.
Q. Dr. Rao in many of your formulae there is no dosage / etc for administration?
A. Yes, in the original books itself it is not there that's where now research is required.
Q. Is this website meant for common people or only specialist?
A. Strictly meant for specialists. Not meant for general use. No medicine from this web should be consumed on own. Ayurvedic Doctors can choose these formulae if satisfied fully and study.
Q. In some formulae cow's urine etc., are to be used you want EXCRETA to be used by humans orally?
A. I have not created anything on my own. Originally it is there in books. If anyone wants to save their lives or get rid of sufferings they have to use these excreta also as they have medicinal values. It will continue to be there if one wants or not.
Q. What is the chief motive of this website?
A. Earlier it was always a secret, the author or translator wants to share his views openly before the world. This is main aim.
Q. What are future plans?
A. To concentrate on cosmetics like hair fall, acne, premature senility (that is aging), etc., besides treatments for kidney failure, Rasaayanaas; permanent cure for diabetes mellitus etc.
