CAUSES OF VIRAL HEPATITIS
AS PER ALLOPATHY

  1. Hepatitis A to E viruses
  2. Non A to E viral Hepatitis
  3. Cytomegalo viruses
  4. Epstein – Bars virus
  5. Herpes simplex virus
  6. Yellow fever virus ( not found in India)

Hepatitis – B – is a chronic infection which will ultimately produce liver cirrhosis or CANCER of LIVER. Allopathic treatment is costly does not give guaranteed cure.

SYMPTOMS OF ACUTE HEPATITIS OF VIRAL ORIGIN AS PER AYURVEDA

  1. Loss of appetite
  2. Thirst
  3. Indigestion
  4. Weakness
  5. Yellow colouration of nails, mucous mamborous,  eyes, and the whole body.
  6.  Low to high grade fever may or may not be present

IF NOT TREATED IT WILL LEAD TO ACUTE LIVER FAILURE WITH ENCEPHALOPATHY WHICH IS IN“AYUVEDA” Called “KUMBHA KAAMILA” which has got the following clinical features.

  1. Swelling of whole body and
  2. Abdomen
  3. Green to violet color to the body
  4. Breathlessness
  5. Zero appetite
  6. Light fever
  7. Body pains
  8. Wt. loss
  9. Thirst
  10. Incoherent speech and
  11. loss of alertness and other symptoms of
  12. Encephalopathy. 

“HALEEMAKAM” CLINICAL FEATURES :

  1. Jaundice in the presence of anemia is called Haleemakam.  It arises with “DWIDOSHAAS”.  The following clinical features will be seen : 1) Green colour of body (2) or violet colour (3) or yellowish, fever, loss of appetite, body pains, Thirst, it is due to “VAATA and PYTHYA”.

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

  1. Take equal quantities of allot the above ingredients and by adding water make them  a fine paste.
  2. Add 16 volumes of water.  Boil slowly till 8 volumes of decoction remains.  Filter cool.
  3. Add sugar, Honey and cow’s ghee and take orally as directed by the physician.

  4. After cooking it shift the material into a JAR with closed lid.

  6. KEEP FOR 2 WEEKS.
  7. 10 gms of this Lehyam will cure all “HALEEMAKAMS”.

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

  1. Take Item No. (1) 100=Palamulu = 04 Kgs.
  2. Later take item No. 3 to 36 = 10 Palamulu = 400 gms.
  3. Make fine paste with water by suitably grinding
  4. Add clean water 4 = TOOMULU” exact version not available.
  5. Transfer contents into a suitable  sized stainless steel vessel.
  6. Start Steam boiling with appropriate stirring until the total volume remains at 8 valumes.
  7. At this stage add Old Jagerry 30 “Palamulu” (=01.2Kgs) after making it as a paste and transfer thin into main vessel under steam boiling.
  8. Make fine powder of ingredients Nos 37 to 66 above each “One Karsham” = 10 gms and add to main contents in the vessel, boil for a while slowly with timely stirring so that the preparation is not over boiled cool it at this stage
  9. Add sufficient honey after that
  10. Transfer “LEHYAM” into suitable JAR
  11. Cover it in the middle of heap of paddy for 2 weeks (DHANYA PUTAM
  12. Take orally as directed by physician.

Make finest pieces of “Realgar” and cook for some time with each juice for seven days.  After wards in each juice the material should be immersed in the juices of each of above 3 varieties of juices for seven days.

(i) Lemon Fruits juice.
(ii) Fermented rice cunjee.
(iii) Fermented butter milk.

For 7 days in each of above juice and dry under light it gets detoxified.

1. Take fine powder of iron and cook in gingilly oil – cool it wash with water
till oil is removed. 
2. The juice of Acaia Asiatica (40 G) and boil powder of iron in this juice for
one “JHAAMU” (English value not available), later dry under sun it gets
detoxified.

6. DETOXIFICATION OF FERULA ASJAFOETIDA

  1. Make into fine pieces and immerse in the juice of NELUM BIUM SPECIOSUM (334) for one day keep under sun reject juice collect, dry under sun. It gets detoxified.

7. DETOXIFICATION  OF BOLEARMANIC/REDOCHRE (234)

Make the ingredients into fine pieces and immures in cow’s milk for 24 hours. Dry under sun.  It gets detoxified.

8. DETOXIFICATION OF ZINGIBER OFFICIANALE      (758)
Remove white coatings.  Apply fresh quick lime and dry up under sun for a day. It gets detoxified.

9. PIPER LONGUM DETOXIFICATION :

Immerse in the juice of plumbugo ZEYLANICUM (272) for a day and dry under sun.

10. PIPER NIGRUM DETOXIFICATION
1. Immerse in fermented cow’s butter milk for a day later gently fry over a pan it, gets detoxified.
